Recipe for Pulled Pork Flatbread
Recipe for Pulled Pork Flatbread
A smokey pulled pork over toasted flatbread with cherry habanero sauce, shredded cheese, and creamy sauce on top - it's one of those recipes you can't not share with everyone!
YOU WILL NEED
* Leftover Pork Butt (cherry smoked, low and slow)
* Toasted flatbread
* Shredded cheese
* Creamy chipotle
* Alabama white sauce
* Green onion
THE PREP
To begin with, you will definitely need leftover pulled pork for this. It should be cooked slowly and gently.
Let's go ahead and fast forwards to the following day. You have completed the 8–11-hour cooking process, enjoyed your pulled pork, and are now seated with the leftovers. Why not use it in a different way?
Get some flatbread that has been toasted, a few sauces, and some shredded cheese of your choosing. To get started, simply chop some green onions for later use as a garnish.
THE COOK
There are only a few steps remaining before you can start enjoying your BBQ-flavored flatbread snacks because the pork has already been cooked.
First, you might re-season the pork butt with some Dirty Bird Hot & Honey Killer Bee, depending on how it was originally seasoned. After that, coat it completely with Honey Jalapeno BBQ sauce. You might as well skip the rub if the meat was already well-seasoned.
Put together your appetisers in step two! Add some pulled pork that has been marinated in sauce, some shredded cheese, and a drizzle of Alabama white sauce and creamy chipotle sauce on top of the toasted flatbread.
THE PAYOFF
The pulled pork flatbread must be placed on your grill or in an oven that has been preheated to 425°F (220°C). Wait until the cheese has melted and everything has warmed up. After that, turn off the heat, add the finely chopped green onion, and serve.
